Wednesdays 6:00-7:00pm.

Ages 10-Adult

Complementary Colors come to life as students design their own painting.

• Lesson on color intensity, saturation, color complements and how they relate to paint.

• Learn how to manipulate complementary colors to create a visually appealing piece.

• Discussion on color placement and emphasis for desired effect.

• Design your own composition along with color choice and canvas size.

• Lesson on warm and cool colors and contrast.

• This class will answer questions like: “Why does this blue and yellow make brown, not green?”

• Students will complete a personalized painting of their image choice using this approach.
