Ages 10-Adult

Tints, Tones, and Shades Oh My!

In this class students will complete their very first monochromatic painting on canvas.

• Students will be given the opportunity to design their own painting.

• Lessons on mixing paint with black and white to create various values.

• Focus on teaching the student’s eyes to see value and contrast to build form.

• Students will complete a personalized painting of their image choice using this approach.
