Dust off that machine and learn how to use it to create the beautiful projects you’ve always wanted to make! New sewing students are required to take this one time class before joining any other sewing classes. In class, we will introduce you and ourselves to your machine as each is unique. You will learn the parts of your machine and their uses.

Supplies Needed:

-Sewing Machine, Fabric Scissors, Pins, Seam Ripper, 70/10 Universal Needles, White Sewing Thread

We will supply everything else! Registration is for one person (If you plan on sharing a machine, register for two people)

Join us each month for Sewing Class!

Tuesday Evenings 6:00-7:30pm

Each month we will be creating a new project and learning a new technique. The focus of this class is to learn and grow in your sewing practices vs quickly completing a specific project.

New Students are Required to take our one time class “Meeting Your Machine” before joining this monthly class.

-Supplies needed: Sewing Machine, Fabric Scissors, Pins, Seam Ripper, 70/10 Universal Needles, White Sewing Thread. We will give you a supply list IF more is needed. Registration is for one person (If you plan on sharing a machine, register for two people)

Price: $65 ($55 with Early Bird Discount)

Crochet Students: Learn the basic stitches: chain, single, half double, double, triple and slip stitches. Second week we will perfect these basic stitches and learn to increase, decrease, and work in a round. No experience needed please bring a skein of worsted weight yarn (preferably in a light color) and a crochet hook standard size F, G, or H.

Knitting Students: Learn to cast on, knit, yarn over, make buttonholes and bind off in garter stitch in the first week. Cast on, purl, ribbing and bind off in stockinette stitch and ribbing in the second week. No experience needed please bring a skein of worsted weight yarn (preferably in a light color) and a pair of size 7, 8, or 9 needles. (We have extras too)

Time: Thursday evenings from 6:00-7:00pm.

Beginners and more advanced students are both welcome. We will work with you at your level! Each month we will be creating a new project and learning a new technique. The focus of this class is to learn and grow in your practices and complete a different project each month. (Remember, this class is about the knowledge obtained, NOT the project)

Ages 10 - Adult

Please bring crochet hooks size F, G or H and a yarn needle. Or your Knitting needles. All other supplies are included!
