Dust off that machine and learn how to use it to create the beautiful projects you’ve always wanted to make! New sewing students are required to take this one time class before joining any other sewing classes. In class, we will introduce you and ourselves to your machine as each is unique. You will learn the parts of your machine and their uses.

Join us each month for Sewing Class!

Monday Evenings 6:00-8:00pm

Each month we will be creating a new project and learning a new technique. The focus of this 3 week class is to learn and grow in your sewing practices vs quickly completing a specific project.

New Students are Required to take our one time class “Meeting Your Machine” before joining this monthly class. (Typically the first week of the month).

-Supplies needed: Sewing Machine, Fabric Scissors, Pins, Seam Ripper, 70/10 Universal Needles, White Sewing Thread. We will give you a supply list if more is needed. Registration is for one person (If you plan on sharing a machine, register for two people)

Join us each month for this Intermediate Level Sewing Class!

Tuesday Evenings 6:00-8:00pm

This class is reserved for students that have taken our “Meeting your Machine” class and at least 3 months of our regular sewing class or our teacher’s personal recommendation.

Our teacher will have different, more difficult projects planned each month for students to learn a specific skill based on that project. (Remember, it’s not about the project, but the skill acquired through it.)

Registration is for one person (If you plan on sharing a machine, register for two people)

Learn the basic stitches: chain, single, half double, double, triple and slip stitches. Second week we will perfect these basic stitches and learn to increase, decrease, and work in a round.

No experience needed please bring a skein of worsted weight yarn (preferably in a light color) and a crochet hook standard size F, G, or H.

Learn to cast on, knit, yarn over, make buttonholes and bind off in garter stitch in the first week.

Cast on, purl, ribbing and bind off in stockinette stitch and ribbing in the second week.

No experience needed please bring a skein of worsted weight yarn (preferably in a light color) and a pair of size 7, 8, or 9 needles. (We have extras too)

Beginners and more advanced students are both welcome. We will work with you at your level! Each month we will be creating a new project and learning a new technique. Meets one Monday a month from 6:00-7:30pm

A once a month group/class for current and new students that need extra help on an unfinished fibers project from class or for those looking for a group of people with the same Crocheting, Sewing, and Knitting interests as themselves to grow together and get additional help on a project from our instructor.

Bring your own supplies and the project you are working on/ need help with and our instructor will be available to provide guidance.
